He then attended Upstate Medical Center where he successfully obtained his Medical Degree. Dr. Gillian completed his Internship at Martin Luther King, Jr. Hospital in Los Angeles and the Veterans’ Administration Hospital in Long Beach. He then completed a Residency in General Surgery at Valley Medical Center in Fresno. Returning to Upstate Medical Center, Dr. Gillian completed his Cosmetic Surgery Residency in 1982 and was an Assistant Clinical Instructor during that period.
