There are several methods of resurfacing available. The different modalities offer results varying from subtle to dramatic. A hierarchy of some of the techniques available would include: Ultrasonic Facials, Microdermabrasion, MicroLaserPeel, Obagi Blue Peel, MacroLaserPeel and CO2 Laser.

Microdermabrasion treatments exfoliate the top layers of the epidermis use of aluminum oxide crystals and suction. This system will cleanse the skin, remove dead skin cells and stimulate circulation with minimal time and redness.

MicroLaserPeel treatments are ideal for the aging face, for those who wish fine line wrinkle reduction and age spots or brown spots caused by sun damage. This system has a decreased healing time (4-5 days) and reduced redness.

Obagi Blue Peel is a revolutionary chemical peel that removes the thin, surface layers of aged and damaged skin allowing new, healthy cells to emerge. Application of the Blue Peel solution mixed with trichloroacetic acid (T.C.A.) helps to reverse the appearance of the aging process and diminishes wrinkles, hyper pigmentation, sun damage, acne scarring and loss of elasticity.

MacroLaserPeel treats deeper coarse wrinkles and sun damaged skin. This laser gently vaporizes the damaged skin cell layer stimulating the production of collagen or remodeling the skin creating a tighter and smoother appearance.

Cosmetic Lasers are used to perform very specialized specific tasks with accurate and consistent results. Cosmetic lasers also decrease red or blue vascular and skin spots on the face or legs, leg veins or telangiactasis, pigmented lesions and reduces unwanted hair. They can also treat hyperpigmentated skin or melasma and scars.

The Ultrasonic facial treatment and skin laser remodeling are used to stimulate collagen and to aid in additional tightening of the skin with minimal damage to the external skin.

The following treatments will require 3-4 treatments at 4-6 week intervals to achieve the best results.
